Product Description
Each portrait is crafted from epoxy resin with an arrangement of custom colors and materials. The colors in each piece are made up of a combination of mica and pigment power colors that are handpicked and mixed for unique colorful experience. Epoxy resins are a two-component system consisting of resin and hardener. By mixing the two components, a chemical reaction takes place so that the liquid resin gradually hardens to a solid plastic. Resin artwork is more expensive because resin epoxy is more costly than acrylic paint, so it drives the prices up, they are the coolest and worth the price for an original piece of art. Once the piece is dried it is finished with a custom paint that features my signature glitter finish within the paint. All painting come complete with hooks so its wall ready for its new home. **This process is the same for all ink pieces as well**
Pricing
Pricing is broken down into the following sectors and applies to every portrait: Time, Labor, Materials and Delivery fees. Everything on every piece that I create is done by hand from mixing colors to hand painted detailing.
Painting Process
Once an order is placed a custom color scheme is created. I use an array of pigments after I 've created a color scheme I will send it to the customer for approval. Upon approval I will then go forward with creating the piece including any materials the customer has requested on the Creation Form. After I complete the portrait, I allow it to cure for a total of 3 days, this is done to assure your portrait is completely cured and ready for transport. Once the resin is cured completely this is usually where I will add any hand painted detailing or any fine tuning. Following this step, I will then paint the back with my signature matte shimmer finish. To finish up your portrait wall hooks are added, and your portrait is named, dated, and signed. As a finishing personal touch each portrait also comes with a handwritten wax sealed note from me. You will also receive a note with more portrait details and any additional information as well as a Certificate of Authenticity. In conclusion the customer will receive an email with a complete work order.
It means so much that you are interested in my art and creations. As a customer you are a key part to my business so thank you for your time and business.
