Iridescent Stones
This piece is a play on nature formations in stone. I wanted the colors to contrast yet blend well together so I used deep blue hues, bright orange, grey hues and white. On the final layer of resin, I added just a touch of 24k gold flakes to enhance it just a little. The back of the piece is completed with a deep blue with 24k gold flakes around the border, equipped with hooks.

I wanted to create a luxurious feeling piece that was bold yet soft at the same time. I started by placing stones individually in the pattern you see. Following that I mixed the resin in the color creating the abstract texture once I like the pattern, I finished it off with 24k gold flakes. To complete this piece, I decided to take a different approach and finish it with a grey back with 24k gold

§ The meaning of the piece is in the name Beauty In The Blues. This is because as someone who does have depression, I am all too familiar with low times and understand how hard it can be just to get up in the morning. As humans we get so caught up in our own individual storms and I use the word storm as a relative thing. Our own storms may not be completely external a

Inspired by recording artist SZA and her song Good Days, this purple piece is one of one. When I heard the song initially, I intuitively knew I would do a purple piece such as this one.
